The paintings in this 10-leaf album by Yun Shouping were published in the first 8 issues of Famous Chinese Paintings. The album probably belonged to Pan Laichen, as his seal appears on the colored prints in the slideshow (but not on our prints). The colophons and collectors’ seals of Emperor Qianlon (1771-1799, reigned 1736-1796), as well as those of the painter, appear on all prints. The album was auctioned off for 212500 HKD (=23400 euros) in Hong-Kong in December 2008. The colored prints shown in the slideshow (when clicking on the individual images) were taken from the auction site. The original paintings were 35.3x27.3cm in size.
